How can we improve our mobile app?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Bill Pay and account

    It would be nice to be able to get out account information via the app as well as be able to pay it through the app.

  2. Payments

    Have the app allow to pay bills and look at account. Of course you will have to have a log on page and a secure site for billing info. You can go to the KU page online and pay bills, an app to do this would be a lot easier. Thank you

  3. Report outrages on the app

    It would be great for customers to be able to report outages and troubles through the app or a web portal by making mandatory fields (address,intersection) and reporting party phone # incase a call back was needed. This could also assist 911 call centers around the state in reporting the emergencies in a timely fashion.

  8. Outage

    I have not had power for over 18 hours. This is unacceptable on so many levels. People are on oxygen, people are losing food that cannot afford to lose. This is ridiculous. Did someone go on vacation and leave the store unattended?? KU where are you?????

    The weather data can be toggled off by useing the “wrench” icon at the top of the map.

  12. Map scrolling too sensitive

    Scrolling function of the map area is too sensitive to touch input. Nearly impossible to register touches on the outage icons because the map scrolls instead. Issue seen on a Galaxy S6 with Android 6.0.1.

  13. Issue with detailed outages. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same. Can't touch the triangles to find out detailed info.

  15. Change the weather part.

    Can you please change the app to where the weather on is not default? I don't like the weather part and don't like having to turn it off every time I want to see the outage map. There was nothing wrong with the app before.

  17. New Mobile App Available for LG&E, KU and ODP

    Go to the App Store to download their new mobile app. It gives you the ability to:
    -view the outage map
    -report and track outages
    -view and pay your bill
    -and more

    At one time there was an option to show outage boundary, after an update that option was removed. I would like to see that option reinstated.

  20. Will not make call

    When trying to report an outage you click on the 800 number and the iPhone splash screen comes up but when you press "call" nothing happens. Works with other apps by not KU.
