Report outrages on the app
It would be great for customers to be able to report outages and troubles through the app or a web portal by making mandatory fields (address, intersection) and reporting party phone # incase a call back was needed. This could also assist 911 call centers around the state in reporting the emergencies in a timely fashion.

You need to repeat the text number fir reporting outages. Give us time to open a text message and say it again.

Your recording is incredibly annoying every 20 to 30 seconds. We know you have one person answering phones if they’re awake and we’re not feeling particularly patient!

App does not work! Won’t accept our phone number. Have been on hold for 20 minutes to report to a person. No answer. Last time we were without power for FIVE DAYS! Tried to report on app three times and it didn’t count us. We need better service for the price hikes we keep getting.

This application really doesn’t inform. If I were in management, I would have someone check and update the data.
It’s Wednesday, 5 days after the storm and still says “accessing the damage” on the application for my area.
Really ?
After 5 days.?
I think I could better access your application. It sucks.

Understand that this is a big event, however the lack of information is ridiculous. A person cannot report an outage, the app is useless, awkward, and does not offer any information. Calling the phone number is even worse- it has been almost 24 hours, and yet, no estimate on when power will be restored.

When calling your number, right after it says we are experience heavy call volume and long wait times - it says you can report outages on the app. But you can’t. This is a very obvious addition to the app that needs to be made.

Why have the same 55 homes on the same grid on Bay Run Drive in Eastern Jefferson County lost power 4 times in the last 3 months? I’ve lived here 26 years and in that timeframe never lost power as much in 26 years as we have now in last 3 months! What is going on LGE?!?!

Why is it that every time there’s ice the power goes out there is very little ice on the lines why can’t KU spend more time in the summer to clear trees away from the powerlines instead of all of his customers suffering and all of the repair crews freezing to death trying to repair it seems like bad management to me very very very disappointed in how KU handles its responsibilities

Would love to be able to see a history of outages. Like, why did the whole Highlands power go out on Monday, November 18, 2019 for about 5 minutes around 13:50?

I’m not able to get info on when we can expect power to be restored. My data on my internet is spotty. We’ve been very patient, but would like to know what to expect.

Entire city of Woodlawn Park went out last night from 9:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. outage map on show <5 customers out. I texted “OUTAGE” but whenever I later texted “STATUS” I did not receive any replies or updates. I could not find a way to use this app to report my outage. APP useless to me last night.

The power has been out since around 930 last night and is still out at 9:26 this morning. Where is our power?

Poor customer service on recognizing our outage, and informing us on situation. Thank God we only had a minor storm in Fayette county given the poor service from KU. Very disappointing.

Outage still not listed/noted on map.
No communication on resolution for 14 hours.

Reported at 9:30 said issue resolved at 9:40. It is not. Still no power in Falls Creek and is also not showing up on outage map as of 11:10. Also cannot call because of the bright digital phone that doesn’t work with no electricity geez

How can you expect customers to report an outage when you don’t have your acct # when registering?. You used to be able to repirt using your home phone and address.
We have an electric outage and when we called to report an outage which occurred just minutes ago, your ‘roto answered’ “outage is now resolved.”
It is not resolved.
