Overdue Billing Error on Current Account
My account is current and has been showing a $0 balance since I paid well before the due date last month. Today when I logged on, the app is showing an “overdue balance” for the previous month which was paid weeks ago.
I contacted Pepco and they confirmed my account was current with a $0 balance. And that the overdue balance is not overdue, but is the dollar amount owed for the next bill.
Just wanted to share because there is no department to report these alarming errors to. Pay attention and double check your bank to avoid making emergency payments that aren’t even due yet. Always call Pepco to confirm and make these errors known!
Seems to be a problem with the app. Happens sometimes that the next month bill amount shows up as overdue for the previous month. Only like that a day or two, but disturbing.
