I also had this problem. I was unable to create an account from the app on an iPad.
Still unsuccessful trying the 10 digit account number (last digit truncated).
I then went to the web site via a browser and successfully created an account.
However, I am now unable to logon to my account via the app.
It seems to be some sort of communication problem from the app to the business server(s).
